About Degreat

An Igbo boy born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Degreat states that  Growing up on the mainland of Lagos was fun and he was inspired by his environment and people around him but above all he had a great passion for art, especially pencils. Degreat fell in love with pencils at a young age and loves that he  keeps evolving his skills to create other mediums of art and showcase his love for it.

2019 sparked an interesting year for artist born Leodegreat Orji. The then 25 yr old tapped into his event painting skills for the first time at the Ife Aye Charity Function which followed with a very successful auction, and thus enhancing his art skills even further into the current event painter and already established pencil artist we all know and love. Since then he has painted some of the greatest Afrobeats artists, Hosted many solo events and exhibitions, and adorned couples with beautiful paintings on their special day.
